Autumn in New England is magnificent and quite possibly the most beautiful place to be. This year in particular, we have been blessed with a gorgeous and mild fall, it’s hard to imagine that winter is around the corner.

While it may seem ridiculous to even consider, let alone write anything to do with the holiday season, having had experience in the past getting caught in the ‘shopping frenzy’, I’ve learned to plan ahead. I’m not ready for Christmas, and maybe not quite ready for Thanksgiving, but like most days, they seem to slip away so quickly and before you know it, the turkey is coming out of the oven.

I always like to get the kids prepared first and off my to do list. My girls need dresses, shoes, accessories…well, just about the whole ensemble and while having girls so close in age is beneficial for the hand-me-down factor, my youngest is catching on. For party dresses, I try to buy pieces that they can wear again throughout the year. Even if it’s for another party or for school, there shouldn’t be any reason to waste money on an outfit they cannot reuse. Same goes for you mommies!

I have compiled a few ensembles that should carry your little girls and boys through Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and throughout the year.

Enjoy browsing and have fun shopping! Send me a picture with your little models, I’d love to feature them on my blog!
