The Boho look when done right can look so chic!

The revised 70’s iconic look emerged last Spring as a dominant aesthetic – and this season it is commanding attention once again. With mixed prints, fringe and gauzy gowns accessorized with fur and chunky knits, designers like Lanvin, Burberry Prorsum, Chloe, Isabelle Marant and Etro have captivated us indeed.

As much as I, or any woman, for that mater would love to wear nothing but designer labels and haute couture, the reality is that we don’t. Maybe it’s for practical reason, such as having children. Maybe it’s financial reasons…these things don’t come with a cheap price tag. So I figured I would give my reader the option of high end and mid-market range of what I consider a pretty and feminine trend this Fall.

Love this Vince shearling vest!!! So warm and cozy! For those early Fall days, throw in a pair of shorts with these Stuart Weitzman burgundy suede boots and complete your outfit with all the other accessories. You will definitely feel gorgeous and ready for date night!

This leather jacket from JCrew is a perfect addition to your Fall wardrobe. It’s very soft and the fit is slimming. I would recommend going up a size. Ulla Johnson dress from Barney’s. This will carry through many seasons, but will make such a statement for this Fall especially worn with this leather jacket. Pair it with these scrumptious Chloe boots. Oh, the color is just so gorgeous!

This coat from Chloe with removable fur collar is just so cool. First of all it’s a piece that will stay with you forever. You can wear it with jeans, leggins, mini skirts and knee-high boots. I love the sort of clash of patterns at play here with the Sacai Midi skirt. Just like the coat or anything on this collage, you can wear again “non-boho”. And so happy Mary Jane’s are making a comeback…love the way they look on a woman’s leg…very flirty.

How to use your fur vest this season? Go Boho! This look is more elegant and subtle. But it’s still sexy and let’s face it, you can use all these items over and over. The cuff from Etro adds such a great pop of color without being overt. Wear this to a cocktail party and you’ll be the talk of the town.
